ACMI's Live in the Studio public forum this month takes a look at Arrested Development.

ACMI’s Live in the Studio public forum this month takes a look at the dysfunctional Bluths in Arrested Development.

The critically acclaimed and multi award-winning comedy followed Michael Bluth (played by Jason Bateman) and his hilariously dysfunctional family across three seasons and 53 episodes of TV, before being yanked off air to the dismay of audiences around the globe.

With a new season and a feature film in development, set for release in 2012, fans are finally getting the family reunion they have been waiting for. Before catching up with the Bluths this year, Live in the Studio will allow fans a look back at the family antics that made the first three seasons of Arrested Development a hit with audiences and critics alike.

Pull on your never-nudes, grab a frozen banana and chicken dance your to ACMI for this night in appreciation of Arrested Development with commentators Clem Bastow, Dan Barret, Jess McGuire and Martyn Pedler.

One Thursday each month in ACMI’s television studio, Studio 1, a collection of pop-culture commentators, academics and industry experts and luminaries get together to present a night fits somewhere between analysis and entertainment, allowing audiences to revel in TV past and present. 1. “a new season and a feature film in development”.
Really? I’d heard there were problems.
But if true, then that’s the best news I’ve read on TV Tonight…..well, ever!!
If they’re even half as good as the originals I’ll be in ecstacy.
