“The Devil Wears Prada” did not make top 20 ,does this mean that TEN won’t show it again ? i bet they do before june 30 this year.

  2. Sammo360 March 10, 2012 at 9:37 pm -

    @wwenrl from mediaweek 2nd game rated 343k (Sydney 230k, Brisbane 114k)

  3. A. March 10, 2012 at 6:08 pm -

I think Phryne Fisher can be enjoyed by anyone. I’ve loved Agatha Christie since childhood. So I hope they make more. I’m one of the viewers under 50 not that it matters to me what age the programming is aimed at. I think the best Australian shows for the past ten years have probably been children’s programmes not that I’ve seen them. I know they were excellent in the nineties. Much more fun and imaginative than shows aimed at adults (and I was one) . I hope they continue with something set in another time with a sense of adventure. That’s so rare and precious these days.

  4. wwenrl March 10, 2012 at 4:51 pm -

Or better described as what was the rating for the 2nd Match in Total??

  5. David Knox March 10, 2012 at 4:49 pm -

Jezza: Actually ABC does want to bring down the median age of it audience without alienating older viewers. With so many Australians under the age of 40 they need to.

  6. wwenrl March 10, 2012 at 4:47 pm -

David what was the rating for Nine’s Friday Night Football featuring the Brisbane Broncos and North Queensland Cowboys??

  7. J Bar March 10, 2012 at 4:13 pm -

Great that viewers punished Ten for running The Devil Wears Prada on an endless loop every six weeks. Also great that Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries went back up again this week.

  8. bettestreep2008 March 10, 2012 at 3:37 pm -

I love the film – but you can get the DVD for under $10 and watch it as many times you like – Without ads!

Ten are just insulting viewers with repeating this film so many times.

They deserve to come fourth if they aren’t even bothering to try to compete with ABC, Nine and Seven.

  9. Kenny March 10, 2012 at 3:30 pm -

@Ronnie – “very old” meaning what age group?
@MillerT1 – Tie for two consecutive nights on same 21.8 – my point being that it’s either very coincidental or a bit sus. Nine had NRL in two cities (which is irrelevant to my statement).

  10. jezza the first original one March 10, 2012 at 3:24 pm -

@ Ronnie….why the hell are the ABC gonna worry about demos……that is for the advertisers and the commercial networks? c’mon mate get with the game here……

  11. Ronnie March 10, 2012 at 2:27 pm -

Phyrne Fisher is #10 in Sydney and the demos are very old. Will the ABC re-commission on this basis? Is Brendan Dahill happy with these demos?

  12. MillerT1 March 10, 2012 at 1:52 pm -

Kenny, I wouldn’t call it a real tie. On Thursday, Nine had cricket and on Friday, Nine had NRL. Seven had no sport.

  13. jezza the first original one March 10, 2012 at 10:31 am -

Advertisers……how can you trust Ch10 with your advertising dollars…..if your advert aired during the show of Devil/Prada, how much money have you wasted…. C’mon advertisers give 10 a big kick where it hurts and maybe then they will put something on that people want to watch

  14. David Knox March 10, 2012 at 10:07 am -

    Devil Wears Prada: 359,000.

  15. Kenny March 10, 2012 at 10:04 am -

“The Devil Wears Prada” off the radar?
    7 & 9 tie for two consecutive nights on 21.8 ??
And TEN a distant #4 to ABC1. And deserve to be.
