Gold Logie leak?
Logie fever heats up as Carrie Bickmore, Esther Anderson, and Hamish Blake are rumoured as Gold nominees.

News Limited has leaked an apparent list of Gold Logie nominees.
They include:
Esther Anderson
Carrie Bickmore
Hamish Blake
Adam Hills
Asher Keddie
Karl Stefanovic
Last year the same outlet also ran Gold nominees ahead of time and was close but wrong, by tipping Carrie Bickmore as a Gold nominee for 2011.
2012 Logie nominations will be announced tomorrow afternoon in Sydney.

if you go by average ratings it should by Esther or Adam
In the Australian television industry, a leak is nothing more than a planned publicity stunt. It would basically be an early release, but who doesn’t like the idea of being made privy to some sort of secret information. It just goes to show how much influence the Logies has nowadays, especially when they are using such tactics.
Cookie, one could definitely say the same thing for all of the other potential nominees. Adam Hills – always definitely Fourth – but very deserving ! Karl on Today is almost always second, and Offspring?! Not good! As for PTTR – def gone downhill – I used to adore it, now I don’t even bother…
@Jennome Well, actors, actresses and presenters are all recognised in their respective categories. I hardly think it’s fair to restrict the Gold Logie to only presenters, when the biggest contributions in television can be coming from an actor or actress.
If the Gold Logie nominees are all presenters, it could just be duplicate of the Most Popular Presenter nominees. Now that wouldn’t be very exciting…
The only change I would suggest is have separate categories for Male and Female presenters (since we do it for the acting branch). But that’s a different story.
Terrible list especially with Esther Anderson on it.
The Logies have become a non-event. Sad to see.
If that is the field one would hope Adam Hills finally gets to win one of these things,any other result would be typical of the Logies.
Who’s Esther Anderson?
Awards like this shouldn’t go to actors, who are playing someone else, it should be restricted to hosts and people being (hopefully) themselves. Stupid to list Asher Keddie in this category – and presumably Esther Anderson.
@deedeedragons I totally agree about scraping the bottom of the barrel.
I’d much rather see Amanda Bishop, Rob Carlton, Essie Davis, Alex Dimitriades, Matthew Le Nevez, Phil Llyod, Luke Nguyen, Shaun Micallef, Kat Stewart… Just to name a few!
I’ll be very thrilled if Adam Hills and Asher Keddie are one of the nominees.

Esther might have a good chance because she ‘died’ & even that would be a much better outcome than Karl again.

I don’t think Carrie/The Project have enough support to pull in a Gold Logie nom. And I hope Hamish doesn’t get through either. His jokes are getting too old. And is Gap Year even coming back?
I hope Karl is in there again this year, he is rapidly becoming a TV legend.
On a side note does anyone know how much it costs to route 1,000s of votes through an Indian based call centre to ensure a winner?
I would love to see Adam Hill’s win it. He’ll be getting my 55¢ vote
See, I don’t get the Logies. A true reflection of the most popular personality on Australian TV would not see Hamish Blake being nominated! I mean, their show failed miserably. If he won, what would he say in his speech? Thanks for those few people that stuck around?
That is a terrible list. There is far more talent them some of them.
