Game Change, the telemovie on the Sarah Palin / John McCain election pitch of 2008 has become HBO’s biggest telemovie in 8 years.
And it’s not hard to see why.
Julieanne Moore is uncanny in the Palin role.
Compare these speeches between the real thing and the imitation.
Despite claims of inaccuracy, Steve Schmidt, the Republican campaign’s chief strategist, stated: “Ten weeks of the campaign are condensed into a two-hour movie. But it tells the truth of the campaign. That is the story of what happened.”
Game Change will be coming to Showcase in May.

She was very good but wasn’t as irritatingly squeaky. That may be a good thing.
Um, yeah, the difference is Julianne Moore is an intelligent classy actress and Sarah Palin is an ignorant bigot.
I saw Julienne Moore on Ellen last week talking about this, looks good.
You’re right David, it is uncanny.
To me they’re both the spitting image of Tina Fey!
