If Ten’s shows aren’t that bad as some keep on claiming ad nauseum, why aren’t people watching them, and/or losing interest in them quite rapidly?
Even Super Sunday appears to be suffering the effects of Kryptonite as all those shows that were introduced with all the bells and whistles are beginning to slide. YTT is dead as a Dodo, Homeland keeps on shedding viewers, New Girl has dropped alarmingly, leaving only Modern Family on top and even that is down to 9th. place. As for the Network, a distant 3rd. place, on the night.
Although it’s open to debate, I believe that JB is more than rightly correct about no one trusting 10, added to the fact that their shows are not as good as some would have us all believe.
Awwww, JB – give ‘em a go.
Remember Lekie’s famous brief to the 7 staff a month or two after he came on board… “We’ve got shit shows and no hope of turning it around this year”. (or words to that effect).
But turn it around he did – thanks to Lost and Despos.
TEN must be going through the same withdrawal symptoms at present – and probably will for some months yet.
Ten have admitted they’ve given up on Mondays. They ran ads last week saying forget Monday’s it’s just a day after Super Sunday. Ten haven’t worked out that their channel is on 7 days a week, not just Sunday 6.30-9.30pm. In 2 short years Ten has gone from one of the most liked and most trustable network to an absolute joke and a network no one trusts or even watches.
Interesting how lately the gap between Seven News and Nine News in Sydney has narrowed, despite the format or hosts not really changing on either bulliten.
Its not like there bad shows though. NCIS LA needs to go back after NCIS and H5O i have no idea where that’s best suited, but its still not a bad show plus it has a pretty good cast led by an Aussie.
@bettestreep2008… Yes they have…they have also given up on a Friday night and many would argue that they have just given up all together. You have gotta hope that MC works the magic for them or they are completely stuffed
Ten once again has given up on Monday nights.
Simply pathetic.
