More star power joins The Voice

Ricki-Lee Coulter, Darren Hayes, Megan Washington and Benji Madden will all help mentor the show's contestants.

The Voice has added another set of celebrity names to its line-up.

Ricki-Lee Coulter, Darren Hayes, Megan Washington and Benji Madden will all help mentor the show’s contestants.

Coulter has been teamed with Seal, while Darren Hayes mentors with Delta Goodrem, Megan Washington teams with Keith Urban’s contestants and Benji Madden joins with his brother Joel.

“I have friends who have sung in my band and have now auditioned for the show – so they are going to get the shock of their lives,” Coulter told News Limited.

“I have been doing this for eight years and I believe he wanted someone who knows everything there is about the market here.”

But Coulter hasn’t met her coaching partner, Seal, yet.

Darren Hayes said, “The thing that disappoints me about the other music shows is when you see these contestants talking about their financial situation and what they are going to do with the money.

“They have this assumption that fame will make them instantly rich and there’s no guarantee of that.”

The show is expected to launch on Nine after Easter.
