Returning: Before the Game

Before the Game returns to TEN and ONE this week, but pay attention to the scheduling in your city.

After ending last year without any clear future, Before the Game returns to TEN and ONE this week.

Join the entire BTG team – Dave Hughes, Andrew Maher, Mick Molloy, Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann, Samantha Lane and Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald –for what promises to be another premiership season.

Both irreverent and insightful, Before The Game will continue to kick goals every Saturday night of the 2012 AFL season and can be seen at 6:30pm on TEN in Melbourne. In all other markets BTG can be seen Saturday night on ONE.

With the lead up to the inaugural Sydney Derby between the Swans and GWS, footy’s loss will be comedy’s gain. Turn it on!

Please note these times are just for Saturday March 24:

Melb 6:30pm on TEN
Bris 4.30pm on ONE
Syd 5.30pm on ONE
Adel 5pm on ONE

  1. At the time of writing my earlier comment I had already set the Foxtel IQ to record ‘Before The Game’ at the time scheduled i.e. 8.00pm as per the EPG

A few hours later I now find that the scheduled recording (on the Foxtel IQ Box) has changed the time to 5pm… Thank you TV Tonight and Foxtel for keeping me up to date.

Now the questions is – how long will TEN/ONE/Ice TV, just to name a few, take to update EPG guides !!!! to list the correct time.

  2. The Ten/ONE websites have Before the Game listed as showing on ONE in Adelaide at 8.00pm, due to Formula 1 coverage from 6.00 to 8.00pm.

After reading this article this morning my thoughts went back to a call I made to Channel 10 on the weekend enquiring about a starting date and time.

My first shock was that the staff member was not even aware that they had a programme called ‘Before the Game and then after being transferred three times (and 18 minutes later) was told that it goes to air at 8.30pm not 8pm. I read this article today only to find that it’s on at 5pm.

Seriously 10 that was a very long and painful exercise. No wonder ratings suffer – the staff have no idea about the shows you put to air and at what times.

  3. This is such good news! I love this show and the fact sat nights are hell boring it will be good to finally have something i can watch every week. Although i think it should be on Ten in mel, adelaide and perth rather than one.
