Rupert Murdoch doco for SBS

Screen Australia has invested in six documentary projects coming to ABC, SBS and Pay TV’s Nat Geo.

One of the projects is is a two-part SBS and ITV documentary promising a definitive account of Rupert Murdoch.

Janice Sutherland is writer / director and Andrew Ogilvie and Dinah Lord will produce. It will detail how “one man changed the face of the media to become one of the wealthiest, most powerful and enigmatic figures in the world.”

Other projects include the story of the legendary front man of the Warumpi Band, an epic four-part series on Kakadu, a three-part series looking at the new science of brain plasticity, a doco about possums and people vying for real estate and a 360º look at Sydney Harbour.
