I thought Homeland was great last night. They couldn’t tie up all the loose ends without having to take a completely different tack next season. Now both main characters can feature strongly in S2 as can the main story arc (Brody being an agent for Nazir).

F1 figures poss helped by rain delay leading to an extended broadcast. Being in Perth meant not having to decide betw F1 and Homeland but numbers for both in the east prob down on potential.

  2. William March 26, 2012 at 6:57 pm -

Wow One has bet 11 by a mile 7% to 2.2% that was all thanks to the F1 so now they won’t put it off One after that ratings on Sunday for the rest of the years

  3. nik c March 26, 2012 at 5:50 pm -

@ Maev I assume it is a UK rehash version. Hopefully we will get back to new original eps soon. 7two could have skipped these with all their own repeats!!

  4. Rutzie March 26, 2012 at 5:45 pm -

I always thought Castle was a strong enough show to hold down an 8.30pm slot and last nights figures prove this.

  5. Pakes March 26, 2012 at 5:38 pm -

The ratings for ‘The Biggest Loser’ suggest that Young Talent Time’s failure cannot be solely attributed to the poor 6 pm lead in. TBL should have occupied that slot from the beginning of the season.

  6. Maev....Sydney March 26, 2012 at 4:20 pm -

Not mad about the compilation new episodes of Escape to Country.

  7. D@GP March 26, 2012 at 2:30 pm -

IMDb reports season 2 of Homeland starts screening in USA at the end of September…

  8. Guy March 26, 2012 at 1:37 pm -

Great results again for Seven. MKR again the nights top show and tonight i expect 2m. Castle was great last night too and the 1m viewers was good to see.

TEN had a great night last night and so they should. Sunday is their best night of the week. The F1 on ONE really helped them. Homeland was great last night too. Didn’t end how i thought it would. Sort of left me going, oh thats it?

Nine had a horrible night. Way behind Seven and TEN in all demo’s and really are slipping even further. The Voice and The Block can’t come soon enough but they won’t be enough to topple Seven.
