  1. Jace Ace March 30, 2012 at 1:48 pm -

Over 1 million viewers for the AFL. 665,000 CH 7, 91,000 7MATE & 245,000 on Foxtel. Throw in over 78,000 at the game for good measure!

  2. DeeCee March 30, 2012 at 1:38 pm -

David, I believe Joe is adding the Ch7 broadcast and the Fox Footy broadcast together to get to 900,000. However, Joe should be aware of the fact that the Fox Footy ratings include the 5 metro markets plus the 4 regional markets of Northern NSW, Southern NSW, Victoria and Queensland.

  3. Kenny March 30, 2012 at 1:01 pm -

“AFL still number 1 in Melb”. Gee, amazing news! Who would have imagined.

  4. David Knox March 30, 2012 at 11:25 am -

Once again, ratings beyond the Top 20 are often posted in a regular ratings wrap in News. The site has done these for longer than I can remember. 900,000 is not correct.

  5. Joe March 30, 2012 at 11:22 am -

900,000 for Thursday Night Football. Very good! David what were 7Mates ratings in Sydney and Brisbane?

  6. steve sydney March 30, 2012 at 10:01 am -

A shocking night in ratings yet pretty good in demos where TEN is concerned.

What’s happened to Neighbours? It just keeps falling!!

  7. Grantly March 30, 2012 at 9:58 am -

Will be interesting to see if simulcasting of AFL affects Free to Air this year?

AFL still number 1 in Melb
