GG _ “I know I’m in the minority, but I can quite happily say that I haven’t been guilty of watching one single episode” You aren’t the only one. We avoid reality TV (although my husband is interested in The Block purely from a renovator’s point of view).
Rafters – I know the numbers are down but the other networks would kill to have a show like PTTR still getting close to 1.5 million viewers in it’s 4th season final. I’m sure S5 will rate just as well after Easter.
Right now I just hope Parenthood returns as well for it’s final 6 eps of S3, it’s ratings have stayed about the same but they deserve to be better for such a great show with a top cast.
I know I already asked but if anyone knows what Top Gear got this week it would be great.
Has anyone considered that perhaps PTTR is passed its use by date?
Personally, I can’t wait for the same thing to happen to My Kitchen Rules.
I know I’m in the minority, but I can quite happily say that I haven’t been guilty of watching one single episode.
Can’t beleive all you guys predicting PTTR demise. It was the second watched show of the night with unbelievable ratings.
It won’t be going anywhere.
2.5 Men never aired in Melb, neither did the second episode of 2 Broke Girls.
So maybe that’s why those two episodes aren’t on there?
Thought mkr would have passed the 2m mark by now. Maybe next week. I’m predicting 2.9m for the final
@ Mr J Rafters had a huge drop, and I blame Ch7 for the late start. It seems the best way to kill a drama is to put crap reality shows on a Tuesday night and then have a drama follow it and change the start time too piss of viewers and then axe the show becasue of poor ratings and then blame the show, not the network. All Saints is a good example after it followed Dancing with the Stars and then started losing ratigns and now Rafters will likely suffer the same fate.
Mr J – or maybe nationwide increase in online downloading could have something to do with it. Obviously this doesn’t apply with Aussie productions but who is going to put up with ads and being stuffed around by networks when you can have it now and ad free?
Good to see Parenthood beat NCIS even if it was a re-run. Wonder what Top Gear got this week as its not on the top20 list.
wow ABC won the news ratings in Melbourne.
Seems to be a general loss of viewer interest in PTTR. For a season finale that figure is pathetic compared to its figures from the past. The show has been awful this season and last night’s episode was pretty dreary and banal, I’ve gotta say. Two Broke Girls continues to tank, wonder how long Nine will stick with it.
New 2.5 men gets less than 575k and outrated by Deal or No Deal of all things
new Top Gear is also nowhere to be seen
The Lake Eyre special was breath taking and spectacular!
Also a little emotional…I was a fan of Paul Lockyer.
How come bondi vet has gone into repeat mode?? Lat nights ep was a repeat and so is next weeks, i thought we were still in the new season
Safe to say Nine have lost the week already?
Rafters was increasing every week so far this year. That’s a huge drop for the season final.
Lots of shows seem to be down, it’s like there was a nationwide power failure.
