Mentalist on Wed is a repeat, so nine have lost confidence in their Wed line up too! There was no MKR final! So what is there excuse???

  2. Secret Squirrel March 28, 2012 at 10:16 pm -

@The Moops – thx for that.

  3. A. March 28, 2012 at 5:31 pm -

I’ll admit I was glad Nine had Top Gear on when it did ‘cos after Miss Marple ended I was flicking randomly through the channels. And saw Matt Smith on Top Gear. It was just perfect because I was waiting for Lateline to start. So that filled the time perfectly. I don’t know what I’ll watch next week.

  4. David Knox March 28, 2012 at 3:24 pm -

Lyn see ratings story today under News. I do these most weekdays.

  5. Lyn March 28, 2012 at 2:54 pm -

I couldn’t find ratings for “Who Do You Think You Are”.
Does anyone know what it rated?
    Thanks. :)

  6. The Moops March 28, 2012 at 2:43 pm -

@Secret Squirrel, MKR finished at about 9.40pm, it went over by about 10 minutes.

  7. Secret Squirrel March 28, 2012 at 1:40 pm -

Surely some of the data for PoY is really MKR running over time (when did it finish)? The minute by minute figures will tell the whole story.

@Craig – don’t think Nine do media releases about programs being bumped/dumped. Thank god for TV Tonight and the TV tragics whose comments keep the rest of us informed.

  8. Craig March 28, 2012 at 11:56 am -

IMO Nine should have dropped 2BG and 2.5 Men and pushed Top Gear forward last night, I’m sure it would have got better numbers than 271k!

I won’t be surprised if we get a press release soon that TG is being ‘rested’ until after Easter.

  9. bettestreep2008 March 28, 2012 at 10:53 am -

Amazing that Ten came second when they just dished up NCIS repeats – again!

Nine should be more worried than Ten at the moment.

  10. The Moops March 28, 2012 at 10:25 am -

@Mucho, I watched POY and absolutely loved it. Great set, Brian Nankervis is an excellent host and the two guests, Anh Do and Shane Jacobsen, were very entertaining. Seven are on to a winner with this, no doubt about it. I doubt whether it will get such gigantic numbers next week unless it has a terrific lead-in, but it definitely has legs, will pull good ratings and is very well executed. Does anyone know if this is an original concept or is it based on an overseas show. On the end credits, I didn’t notice any reference to it being licensed from an overseas production, so if it is an original concept, congrats to whoever came up with it.

  11. Kenny March 28, 2012 at 9:59 am -

Yes, Pictures of You proves you can made high quality, entertaining, low-cost TV.
Nine 3rd behind TEN. Oh Kerry, wherefore art thou in their time of need?

  12. MuchoTB March 28, 2012 at 9:47 am -

Pictures of You did very well. Did anyone here watch it? What did you think?

  13. reeves35 March 28, 2012 at 9:46 am -

Pictures of You was great TV. It’s so simple, it’s amazing someone hasn’t thought of it before.

TEN was smart enough not to waste a new NCIS against the MKR finale juggernaut.

  14. MillerT1 March 28, 2012 at 9:21 am -

Impressive finish to MKR and incredible debut for Pictures of You. If Seven had room to play it at 8:30 after Easter, they should but they don’t. A huge 23% lead in network share.
