Auditions: Got to Dance

Andrew Gunsberg will host Foxtel's local version of UK reality series Got to Dance.

2012 is shaping up as a good one if you’re a potential dancer. Hot on the heels of TEN announcing Everybody Dance Now and I Will Survive, Foxtel announces its auditions for the local series of Got To Dance.

Based on the UK series, this welcomes solos, duos, group of any age and any style.

And the prize is a whopping $250,000.

Originally due to air in 2011, the Shine Australia series will film between August and September 2012.

The Sunday Herald Sun confirms Andrew Gunsberg will host the series. He hosted the US version with judge Paula Abdul, retitled as Live to Dance.

Gunsberg will also front Photo Finish for the ABC.

Applications close Sunday May 13.

  1. I knew I recognised the name of this show – kinda weird it was meant to be produced last year and now they’re finally making it after it already got axed in the US
