Bumped: Glee

Glee goes back to where it all started on TEN, 7:30pm Thursdays.

Glee fans are getting a bit of a raw deal from TEN as the drama moves to yet another new timeslot.

From next week it is back to 7:30pm Thursdays.

No doubt this is because of Young Talent Time moving to 7pm Fridays. Maybe TEN should have paired them together?

Nevertheless, 7:30pm Thursdays is where Glee actually began on TEN.

The episode “Big Brother” on April 12 will be fast-tracked from the US and guest stars Matt Bomer as Blaine Anderson’s (Darren Criss) elder brother Cooper.

  1. Dear Ten Network,

I really don’t care any more what you guys put on but is there a chance it could be on at the same time and day each week??
I don’t mind the 7pm and 8pm hour long shows (I know I’m in the minority there).
Have a go at this maybe:
Put NCIS LA back on after NCIS Tues.
Don’t play any more than one other ep of NCIS in the week (anyone would think you’re TBBT on 9).
Glee does fit in with YTT. Put Glee 7.30 Wed, YTT behind it.
Stop showing The Devil Wears Prada on a Fri night. If you want to show a movie, show a new one. Or leave the movie showing to ONE.
Have some consistency please. I (along with everyone else) is sick and tired of chasing your schedule (most of it last minute too). I simply give up. I’ll look, if I cant find what I want to watch easily, then I’ll forget you guys exist!
With that said, enjoy more regularly losing to the ABC……

  2. The good thing about ten is that you never what you’re going to watch. It’s real lucky dip tv. Just joking, it is really crap programming yet again.

  3. Channel Ten are at it again!!

This is a good timeslot but since it is the show’s 12th or 13th timeslot in the past three years, there’s no way it will rate above 600k

  4. I’m a Glee fan, but i don’t watch it on Ten anymore, and what davis has posted is exactly why. Season 3, and it has been moved around by Ten in all those timeslots. Pathetic treatment for the show, and pathetic treatment to fans by Ten. Had they left it where it first was it probably would still be rating. I hope this new timeslot flops big time for them and it teaches them a lesson.
the ratings for all their top shows Glee, Good Wife, Modern Family, TAYG etc is not a reflection the show is bad, it’s Ten’s programming is bad and viewers have had enough

  5. While it is a pain that it’s moving around at least this time, it is on a better day however it may be pushed back to 7:40pm, 8pm or 8:30pm due to Masterchef. The networks need to keep shows in the same timeslot as much as possible. At least Glee is fast-tracked hopefully with no breaks this time.

Graham Norton wasn’t on last night however the current series has finished and it won’t be back for a few weeks at least. I believe best-ofs were scheduled.

  6. @stevie g: Graham Norton was originally advertised to be on this week, it was a clip show over the past season or two. However TEN pulled it during the week and replaced it with an old movie.
At the end of Norton last week, he said that there was a three week break and he’ll be back for a new season.
The good thing these days is his seasons are a lot longer, and have very short breaks between.

  7. Talk about “Catch Me If You Can”. TEN had promoted the Melbourne Comedy Gala on TEN at 9:30 last night. I managed to record their 27th rereun of Die Hard 2. The MCG had been moved to ONE apparently. At least by SCTEN.
Yes TEN, I give up on you. My daughters have given up trying to watch Glee. 😉

  8. Full circle indeed. Just to summarise it’s had :

    Sunday 7:30
    Monday 7:30
    Wednesday 7:30
    Wednesday 8:00
    Wednesday 8:30
    Thursday 7:30
    Thursday 8:00
    Friday 7:00
    Friday 7:30

    any others?

    Back to “fast track” though.

  9. This is good actually – there’s nothing I’m definitely committed to at this time, and it’s much better on a weeknight. Glad it isn’t paired with YTT – I can’t even tolerate the ads!

  10. Now, TEN, this is what a normal person would call losing viewers. People will only follow your crap ardound for so long before they either give up or use the Internet, something Glee particularly already competes with on TV.

    When will they learn?
