Channel [V] chooses a Buzz Artist

Channel [V] launches a new campaign to profile an artist on the rise, with their music showcased on screen and online for a month.

It doesn’t specifically indicate it will be an Aussie artist but it launches on May 1st.

When it comes to finding new music, you can end up spending enormous amounts of time trawling the net in search of a gem; that artist who’s on the verge of something big. Channel [V] is about to make that search a whole lot easier come Tuesday 1 May, with the launch of [V] Buzz Artist – a new campaign to bring you the very best in breaking music.

With our ears to the ground and fingers in the socket, [V] Buzz Artist will showcase an act that Channel [V] thinks deserves a bit of a nudge. We’re talking those artists that have blogs in abuzz with hype or those that are just plain killing it in the music scene. If they’re making noise, they’re the [V] Buzz Artist.

Each month a different artist will be featured on the channel both on-air and online. For the entire month Channel [V] will be playing all their music videos, plus interstitials that profile the act. At vmusic.com.au you’ll find a dedicated feature page jammed with bios and interviews with the artist, videos, photo galleries, gig guides and song downloads. We’ll also be rallying them on Facebook and Twitter. So whether you’re watching TV or online, there’s no way you won’t hear about them.

The first [V] Buzz Artist will be announced May 1, and on the first day of each month the featured artist will be revealed. So sit back and let Channel [V] do the hard yakka for you, with brand new music delivered straight to your telly and computer.
