Auditions: Everybody Dance Now

TEN is now calling for dancers to audition for their new Reality series Everybody Dance Now, being produced by FremantleMedia Australia.

The series will embrace all ages, all styles, solo dancers, duos and groups – professional and amateur to become “Australia’s most entertaining dance act.”

A media release indicates “From belly dance to ballet, ballroom to burlesque, pole dancing to popping and locking, hip hop to highland and from the brilliant to the bizarre, we’re looking for Australian dancers of all ages and all styles.”

Everybody Dance Now starts with 120 acts competing head-to-head in a series of dance duels in front of a studio audience. Divided into two teams of 60, each team will be taken under the guidance of a big name entertainment celebrity to do battle in a colosseum-style duel.

“Each night, one act will dance their way to $10,000 and secure their place in the finals to compete for the ultimate cash prize of $250,000.”

One of the dumbest moves Ten ever did was move SYTYCD out of Sundays & put it mid week. Now we get this.

So this is why TEN haven’t brought back SYTYCD?

So many reality shows coming soon to TEN… I hope they don’t have that ‘rushed’ look
