Granada Media Australia appoints new Head of Factual

Granada Media Australia has appointed Rod Parker as its new Head of Factual.

Australian-born Parker has been a part of the management team at Cineflix in Toronto, Canada.

His experience includes factual, entertainment, reality and science programs for broadcasters including BBC1/2/3, Channel Four, Channel Five, BSkyB, Discovery USA, National Geographic, History Television; and also has worked locally with TEN, Nine, Seven and ABCTV.

Managing Director, Leonie Lowe said, “I’m delighted Rod is returning to Australia with a wealth of international experience and knowledge on current broadcast trends. He is a talented addition to Granada that will guide our factual production with much expertise & dedication.”

Parker will executive-produce The Audience for TEN.
