Julie Goodwin: “All I Wanna Do is Make Croquembouche”
Video: Julie Goodwin and a radio DJ have fun warbling on a cover of Heart’s 'All I Wanna Do.'

A couple of years ago when I suggested to Julie Goodwin that she was the new Susan Boyle she seemed to take offence. It was meant as a compliment, because both had come from oblivion to become a star for the masses, but I don’t think she quite got my drift, wrapping an interview abruptly thereafter. Oops.
This week she appears in a video with New South Wales radio station Star FM presenter Wilko.
Singing a cover of Heart’s All I Wanna Do, it’s true she doesn’t quite match Boyle’s tones, but I’m impressed she gets some of the high notes (and even harmonises).
Except now I want to tell her she is the new Pixie Anne Wheatley. Hmmm, maybe I better stay mum….

David you are a meanie.
I dare you to ask TV talent if they want a return of H.R.Pufnstuf
Meanie? I think the clip is good fun! ….would love a Pufnstuf return, but nobody could top Billie Hayes. Not sure of the relevance.
Didn’t she release an album of Christmas songs? Or for Mother’s Day?
I’ll wait until I see a live performance before I give her credit for high notes or harmonies. Post production is a wonderful thing.
Gold!
What a long way she has come from the shy wife and mother….there is a touch of Kath & Kim comedy in there.
