@matthutchinson10, I have just checked the ratings for Friday and Sunday. A clear win for NRL over AFL.

  2. Guy May 15, 2012 at 9:29 pm -

Last night we saw the best and worst of The Voice. There was some amazing performances and the production values were great but the coaches were poor and there was some really average performances too. I found it baffling that you can tell Ben he is great and then turn around and tell Rachael and Karise the same comments. Great figures again but i wonder if it will slip next week due to all that negativity today.

I actually feel sorry for the contestants here because the coaches really are not doing their job.

  3. The Moops May 15, 2012 at 6:00 pm -

Given the whopping viewing figures from The Voice that lead into Tricky Business, I doubt whether Nine would be happy half its potential audience turned off. Not exactly a champagne start.

I don’t watch The Voice, but complaints about last night’s show were rife on tallkback radio this morning. I heard many callers complain about the quality of the contestants, particularly the males. Apparently, a lot of very ordinary performances. Also, lot of comment about Seal’s public displays of affection to his young female team members.

  4. bender May 15, 2012 at 4:09 pm -

Iam enjoying Masterchef this year, i think the ratings will continue to climb now their into the top 24.Home and Away on 700K is the lowest I have seen it for a long time. Agree some of the performences on The Voice were awful. The girls definitely stole the show, Chris Sebastian hurt my ears!

  5. steve sydney May 15, 2012 at 2:02 pm -

Monday night’s ep of The Block is down from last week.

Less than stellar start to Tricky Business given the lead in.

  6. ph May 15, 2012 at 1:35 pm -

The numbers for Tricky Business on the Sydney Morning Herald web site were lower. Confused.

  7. ryano May 15, 2012 at 12:11 pm -

AFL Monday Night averaged 585,000 people on FTA (519k on 7 & 66k on 7Mate)
    & 257k on Fox Footy.

  8. matthutchinson10 May 15, 2012 at 12:06 pm -

Fox footy has been the highest rating channel on foxtel for seven weeks in a row.
Even though the St Kilda Carlton game was 2nd on pay t.v. that doesn’t count the amount of people that watched it on seven as well so it was the highest rating sporting event last night.
AFL has been the highest rating football code of 2012 so far.
oh wait oh no I stated the facts about the AFL beating the NRL in the ratings here come the keyboard warrior AFL bashers to tell me otherwise lol.

  9. Dean May 15, 2012 at 10:46 am -

Paul Murray Live on Sky is becoming a regular fixture in the Top 20

  10. nik c May 15, 2012 at 10:07 am -

Wow Tricky Business did well in the demographics and considering it started late. Hope the figure doens’t include the over run of the Voice. Have yet to see TB, but for Aussie Dramas sake I hope it works and keeps actors, actresses and all the crew and support roles in work.
Small drop for Voice, but now it is just a singing competition I suppose (haven’t seen it so just speculating).

  11. Rutzie May 15, 2012 at 10:01 am -

Very soft debut for Tricky Business. Would I be correct in saying those figures will be adjusted down given it had 12 minutes of The Voice overrun.

  12. fairdinkum May 15, 2012 at 9:54 am -

MasterChef has definitely gone off the boil. Honestly it is like watching a replay of last year. Let me know when they are in Italy, in the meantime I will watch The Voice!
