Today show headed to Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

The Today show is London-bound to cover the Queen's Diamond Jubilee for 3 days in June.

The Today show is London-bound to cover the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, with Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson broadcasting live from the River Thames, overlooking Tower Bridge.

They will be broadcasting from London locations from Monday June 4th to Wednesday June 6th, including covering the Royal River Pageant and the Jubilee concert, as well as looking back at the life of Queen Elizabeth II.

“Broadcasting from London for the Royal Wedding was one of the highlights of my career – and now we get to do it all over again. The Jubilee promises to be just as spectacular and it really will be a treat to bring all the colour and pageantry to our viewers back home,” said Wilkinson.

Stefanovic added: “Whatever anyone thinks about the monarchy, Aussies love the Queen and everyone knows nobody celebrates like the royals. This is going to be one of the great parties of a generation – there’s no way I’m missing it.”

5:30am Monday June 4th – June 6th on Nine.
