Airdate: Guys Choice Awards 2012

This Saturday Movie Extra screens the very blokey Guys Choice Awards 2012.

The star-studded event brings together Hollywood’s hottest leading ladies, premier action stars and standout comedians to pay homage to another great year of Guydom.

Considered to be the biggest boy’s night out of the year, the Guys Choice Awards 2012 is renowned for its golden “Mantler” trophy awarded to winners in each of the unique categories, including Unstoppable Jock, Best Fight Scene and Comedy MVP. This year, Ryan Gosling battles it out against Liam Neeson for the Biggest Ass Kicker award, and Scarlett Johansson goes head to head with Sofia Vergara for The Holy Grail of Hot title.

A favourite event amongst Hollywood A-Listers, the Guys Choice Awards 2012 ceremony will feature a bevy of guests and presenters including last year’s winner of the Holy Grail of Hotness award Mila Kunis, The Lincoln Lawyer’s Matthew McConaughey, star of The Amazing Spider-Man Emma Stone, director of Ted Seth Macfarlane, Parks & Recreation funny man Nick Offerman and star of The Avengers Jeremy Renner. Don’t miss Christian Bale and director Christopher Nolan who will be accepting the award for 2012’s Most Manticipated Movie – The Dark Night Rises.
