Molly Meldrum is getting stuck back into work, 6 months after his accident.

He is due to go to the US this weekend for interviews for Sunday Night and Sunrise.

Meldrum appeared this morning on Sunrise, again thanking the public for their overwhelming support.

“The reaction from everyone was just amazing,” he said.

“I just don’t deserve that sort of attention I don’t think, you know?”

He is also looking to lend his support to more awareness of the dangers of head trauma, saying he was shocked by “The amount of head injuries occur almost every day whether its on bikes, whether its on a horse, sporting injuries, obviously cars and motorbike accidents.

“Just having a knock to the head can actually be really serious…hopefully through the AFL and NRL we can give this issue the attention it needs.”
