Bumped: Homeland (rpt)

Even in repeats on a multichannel shows aren't guaranteed a timeslot.

Even in repeats on a multichannel shows aren’t guaranteed a timeslot.

ONE is repeating the excellent Homeland on Wednesday nights, but from next week will move it from 8:30 to 10:30.

The line-up is now:

8:30 Burn Notice (rpt)
9:30 Sons of Anarchy
10:30 Homeland (rpt)

I guess it’s hard to expect too many to tune in without some serious campaigning.

  1. The League was given a early-ish slot, then a later one then to 1am. it deserves a better slot then that.

@ Bogues – Californication could be played on its own, Ones schedule and lineups aren’t always 8:30 – 9:30, 9:30 – 10:30 and so on. channels can play shows in what ever timeslot they want, but they could always find another 30 min show to pair it with. The League would have been perfect, I wish One would get the rights to Its Always Sunny as 7mate clearly have no interest.

  2. Not the first time either. One started showing season one of 24 at 8:30pm on Mondays, then it moved to 9:30pm Tuesdays, then 10:30am, and now it is midnight as double eps. At least they are still showing it to the end.

    Other networks should take note.

  3. And this just confirms my gripes….I had thought of watching this….glad I did not…would be doing programmers dance….yet again!

  4. Not surprising given how little advertising it had. A lot of people saw it first time around but some people seem to like watching the same thing again shortly after. Shame as I had convinced someone that it was worth committing to but they won’t be at 10:30.

Like APM, I just hope that they don’t stuff SoA around, and wonder why they’re holding off on new BN. Californication is a half-hour show so it would actually need to be paired with another, altho’ obviously they could precede/succeed Dexter. I really enjoyed having it after Nurse Jackie, I thought that worked well as they are both quite absurd dark comedies.

  5. like anyone will notice or there will be any difference to ratings…..some people just have nothing to occupy their day…….sack them

  6. So many shows still left to air. Got ready to watch White Collar the other day only to find a movie instead. Not a good way to build a multi channel that lags far behind the others. I give up.

  7. I guess everyone watched it on Ten, as long as Sons stays put I’ll be happy. it was a strange move to put Homeland at 8:30 when they could easily fast-track the new season of Burn Notice at 8:30 and play repeats till then. so at least they have corrected themselves.

speaking of One, I reckon they should air Californication and Dexter on the channel. they might work out better there than Eleven.
