New Can of Worms hosts are in final audition stages for TEN, being tested before live audiences this weekend.

On their official website producers Zapruders Other Films announced:

“We are gearing up for series 2 of Can of Worms and would like to invite some Sydney based fans to come and play.

“We’ll be running workshops for Series 2 this Friday 29th, Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July – daytime and evening sessions available.”

The first session was held last night, surprisingly at ABC’s Ultimo studio, with 3 more to take place across today and tomorrow.

Producers are remaining tight-lipped on who the final contenders are, despite previously dropping hints on Twitter earlier this month. Audience members are likely to have signed Confidentiality agreements in order to attend.

Original host Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson stepped aside as host late last year.

Breakfast co-host Paul Henry has been widely rumoured to be one of the names on the network’s wish list.

I’ve heard that Gina Rinehart has demanded that she be given a seat on the panel, altho’ she will withdraw her request if her proxy, a Mr A. Bolt, is chosen as host.

To Be Honest, I don’t mind Paul Henry because he says what he thinks and is pretty funny. I would like to see him host this show. I think he will as it may give Breakfast a bit of a lift ratings wise too.
