Julia Gillard is fronting up for another Q & A session next Monday night.
Will she rate higher than Barry Humphries did? Doubtful….
Monday, June 11 at 9.35pm (AEST) on ABC1 and simulcast on ABC News 24.

Picks a public holiday, so the viewers will be down
Not really. They may be down for Sunday. But the end of a long weekend is usually high.
@Carringbush- All politicians use various phrases. It’s to give them time to formulate a reply. Malcom Fraser’s is “Well, let me just say this”. John Howard adapted it to “well, in answer to that just let me say”…
Tony Abbott’s is “no, no, well, look, ah, this is, you know…”
Should ask Malcolm to join the PM on Q&A, now that he’s quit the Liberal Party and had words of praise for Labor’s handling of the economy on TEN Late News.
The only reason Tony Abbott won’t go on Q&A is because his advisors have told him not to because he is dottery fool, which is why I cannot see him representing Australia on the World stage. Mr. Bean would be more coherent than Tony giving a speech 🙂
When she does answer question you can be sure she will preface it with “I’m glad you asked me that question.” or ” That’s an important issue you’ve raised.” or “Let me just say…” blah blah blah.
I love the Insiders Sunday morning but now skip through the interview because all pollies just waffle.
Know what would be better? Julia and Tony, like on Today years ago.
We have gutles politicians these days
On the question of ratings David, I suspect the PM being on QANDA is a reason *not* to watch.
As Tony Jones mentioned last week, Tony Abbott has been invited on many times but still a “no”.
(Another “no” from Nony).
I’ll take that as a comment, Peter A
Tony???… MIA again.
With the figures released today blowing expectations about the economy, it’s the perfect time for the Australian audience to get the facts. They should have Tony Abbott on going on about how the end of the world will arrive on July 1st and the economy will collapse lol
So she will front another ABC picked audience that won’t ask the tough questions. Also if a tough question is actually asked, will she actually answer it???
Doubtful
