The Block at Bondi awaits planning decision

If the Block is planning on a return to Bondi it will have to wait until July for council approval.

It’s already been reported that the next season of The Block could be returning to Bondi, where it originally began in 2003, but approval of the properties believed to be the site isn’t yet approved by the local council.

A decision on a development application for properties at 6-12 Tasman St (pictured) will not be made for at least another month.

Residents believe the properties are set to feature in the 2013 series of The Block, but both the council and Nine have refused to confirm it.

A council spokesman told the Wentworth Courier: “Council are still assessing the application and awaiting further information from the applicant. It is envisaged there will not be any decision made before July”.

There’s definitely some synergy to be had from returning to Bondi 10 years after its debut season. These properties appear to be split into two homes each – is it possible we could have more than 4 couples next year?
