The Block draws big crowds

By David Knox on June 17, 2012 / Filed Under News 3

The Block contestants turned into rock stars yesterday when their South Melbourne homes were Open for Inspection.

The Nine show drew huge crowds once again, with streets blocked off in readiness for the influx.

An estimatedĀ 20,000 fans queued around the block into Montague street with stalls, food and entertainment keeping the crowds busy. But only 2,000 would be squeezed into the homes.

Brothers Mike and Andrew are already promoting their own website.

All four couples and host Scott Cam will be in attendance again today fromĀ 10am-2pm in Dorcas Street.

Real estate agents are quoting between $1 million – $1.1 million for the three-level homes. The Auctions take place on Saturday June 30th.

Is it true that the crowd scenes were filmed for future use in a series of zombie movies?
