Wallabies on FOX Sports

FOX Sports has Live, HD coverage of matches between the Wallabies, Scotland and Wales this month.

FOX Sports has Live, HD coverage of matches between the Wallabies, Scotland and Wales.

Nine will also be broadcasting the game delayed on Tuesday June 5 and Saturday June 9th on Free to Air.

The Wallabies will open their 2012 campaign against Scotland next Tuesday (June 5), before hosting Wales, fresh from their emphatic Triple Crown triumph during the Six Nations, in three Tests kicking off on June 9.

After fighting their way to a third-place finish at the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand last year, Robbie Deans’ talented young squad is ready to challenge for a return to the top of the world rugby rankings.

Coverage of the June Test series begins on Tuesday when FOX Sports will be the only place to see the Wallabies clash with Scotland Live from 7pm AEST on FOX Sports 3HD & FOX Sports 3. As always, every Test on FOX Sports will be screened in High Definition with no ad breaks during play throughout 2012.

While Scotland are hoping to rebuild from a disappointing Six Nations campaign, undefeated Six Nations champions Wales are being touted as the strongest Welsh outfit to tour the country since 1969 and are riding the momentum of their third Grand Slam.

Australia hasn’t faced the Scots since 2009, when the home nation pulled off a stunning 9-8 upset at Murrayfield to end a 27-year drought against the Aussies.

The Wallabies are much more familiar with Wales, having met them twice in 2011 including the Bronze Medal playoff at the Rugby World Cup, where Australia claimed a heart-stopping 21-18 victory, before edging them again 24-18 in a one-off Test in Cardiff last December. The two nations will meet in three blockbuster Tests on June 9, 16, and 23 respectively.

Live coverage of international rugby extends beyond the Wallabies on FOX Sports in June, with Tests involving New Zealand, South Africa, England, Ireland and Fiji all featuring exclusively on Australia’s Sports Leader.
FOX Sports will provide Live and exclusive coverage of New Zealand’s three-Test series against Ireland, in addition to South Africa’s three-match series at home to England, and Scotland’s one-off clash with Fiji.

The FOX Sports commentary team for the June Tests will once again be spearheaded by the game’s most respected voice Greg Clark, alongside a team of seasoned experts boasting 210 Wallabies Test caps in Tim Horan, Phil Kearns, Greg Martin, Rod Kafer and Brendan Cannon.

Cannot wait for the coverage. Best money we’ve ever spent on. Have so much Super Rugby recordings and NBA Playoffs. Feel sorry for those who do not have Foxtel. Foxtel is much of a pro to any diehard sports fans
