  1. hey david, if channel 7 are struggling in the ratings you would think that they would show this race on the main channel instead of 7mate in some states. more people would watch it on the main channel then 7mate.

i might watch it on 522.

  2. Wait what are you talking about? Black Caviar’s injury? As far as i know she is going better than ever. Maybe its about the breach that occurred. I seriously can’t wait to see this. She is going to silence those British critics once and for all.

Anyway you can also watch on Sky Racing World (Foxtel Channel 521). I prefer them so much more than TVN. TVN only cover a race when it suits them and the entire team except for Caroline are so sure of themselves. Sky have actually sent people over to cover the entire Ascot meeting and all TVN give you is a continuous feed of At the Races.

    1. Sorry guys. I went back and checked Seven’s Release, which merged AFL and Caviar info into one Saturday night broadcast release. The wording of Caviar sentence followed by injury sentence was a bit confusing, but I see now it’s an AFL reference. Apologies for any confusion (and go you good thing).

  3. What injury? Just did a quick search in case I had missed it – nothing. Are they trying to set up some sort of narrative where the champion has to overcome adversity just to get to the big race? Wait, 105 minutes to fill in before the actual start? (the length of a movie). Of course, so some doubt to try to capture as big an audience as they can at 11pm and hold on to them all the way to the race. Expect to be bombarded with gambling ads.
