Former MADtv stars Keegan-Micheal Key and Jordan Peele star in upcoming sketch show Key and Peele, premiering on The Comedy Channel in August.
Key and Peele is a riotous combination of pre-recorded sketches and stand-up segments filmed in front of a live audience. It’s a naughty and hilarious depiction of everyday life with a dark and witty twist on the average sketch show that will not fail to entertain.
Starting as a YouTube sensation, Key and Peele have been well received by audiences throughout America. The first episode drew 2.1 million viewers, making it the most watched program at launch from Comedy Central since 2009.
The pair specialise in politically incorrect humour and have become known for their amusing skits satirising President Obama. The President himself has taken a liking to the show, despite the numerous parodies about his Presidency.
Their wicked sketches are mostly based on the experiences Key and Peele had growing up, and their unique view on society presents twisted and hilarious skits that will have you in stitches.
Thursday August 9 at 8.30pm.
