Returning: The Ricky Gervais Show

A new season of The Ricky Gervais Show begins on Showcase next month, with more inane banter from Ricky, Stephen and Karl.

This may well be the final season after Gervais blogged that he may not continue with a fourth season.

HBO presents the return of The Ricky Gervais Show, the animated comedy series from the celebrated creators of ‘The Office’, as well as HBO’s ‘Extras’ and ‘Life’s Too Short’. Based on the hugely popular audio podcasts, this half-hour comedy series is voiced by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, along with their colleague and friend Karl Pilkington, whose offbeat stream of consciousness inspires many of the storylines. As in previous seasons, this season of The Ricky Gervais Show will continue to focus on the eccentric mind Pilkington, who serves as the perfect comic foil to the Gervais and Merchant. From bizarre medical stories to newly discovered insects to useless inventions, Ricky and Stephen delve into the mysterious intricacies of Karl’s brain in the new season’s 13 hilarious episodes.
