Seven has announced a number of highlights for the second half of 2012.

The titles include:

Beauty & the Geek,
Brynne: My Bedazzled Life,
The Unbelievable Truth,
GCB,
Killing Time,
Anh Does Vietnam,
Smash,

But what remains unclear is the intended launch forĀ A Place to Call Home. Last year Seven announced the show for 2012, but this week has not responded to enquiries about whether it will still launch this year or not.

My question is will the 50th Bathurst 1000 be in HD on 7MATE?

Also how are GCB, Killing Time and Smash highlights? The first unfortunatly ended after just 10 eps in the US, no more were made. and the other 2 have aired on PayTV, Killing Time over 6 months ago.

They must be scrapping the bottom of their barrel, and what about the US shows resuming around September? No mention of them or are they planing to hold off showing them until 2013?

@Rayne – In fact, most people do not have pay-TV.
@Russell- It’s only a repeat if you’ve already seen it, and, as said, most people do not have pay-TV.

I’ve seen Smash on Foxtel–great show. Other than GCB, the rest of this line-up bores me.

I loved GCB. Such a shame it got canned.
Looking forward to Brynne, Unbelievable Truth and Anh Does Vietnam

Smash is a fantastic show. I’m so happy that this will be playing on FTA. Not sure why they are still planning to show GCB though, as it was axed in the US after the first season.

went to two of the taping sessions for the “The Unbelievable truth”.. yep, it’s based on the BBC series.. produced by Graeme Gardner from The Goodies..

it’s a panels how.. so it’s entertainment really depends on what guests are on and how they interact..

What about Kath & Kim? Weren’t they supposed to be airing something in 2012?

  9. Rayne July 10, 2012 at 8:12 am -

@Russell not everyone has pay TV so these will be first run for a lot of people.
The Unbelievable Truth – maybe it’s based on the BBC game show in which “panellists compete to see how many nuggets of truth they are able to hide amongst their lies” (quote from BBC website).

Might watch Smash and Killing Time, other than that there’s nothing that appeals.

Smash & Killing Time are repeats and have aired already on W and TV1 respectively.

    What is “The Unbelievable Truth”
