Like an episode of Episodes, America has now delivered its own version of The Inbetweeners, those rascally Brit boys who are endearing in their offence.
Now they are dudes in American high school.
I guess as remakes go this is probably a reasonable effort for the US market, hard to tell ……but I think I know which one I prefer.

Something seems off about it. It was just missing a quality in the tone. Almost a little bit too silly.
The problem often comes where they don’t know what to take out, what to leave in. There’s a few things there which don’t seem to gel. The blazer is one thing. It’s a bit too silly. In the original he just wore the proper school uniform.
I actually did laugh though.
Doesn’t look as bad as I’d thought – but still… Whyyyyyyy!!
Pass – I’ll stick to the original.
