Tour de France safe until 2017

Cancel all fears of Tour de France moving from SBS anytime soon.

SBS reminded TV Tonight it has the rights to the event until 2017.

These were secured in 2010 with the owners and organisers, Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO).

SBS is doing a great job screening this Live and in HD around the country.

Thanks, David. I had forgotten that. I’ve put a reminder in my calendar for 4 year’s time to start marshalling our forces for SBS to retain the rights.

That’s great news! Hopefully, SBS will regain the rights to the Tour Down Under soon too.

Ah well that’s good news. I’ll sleep easier tonight! Well after I finish watching the Tour, then I’ll get some sleep…:) They really are doing a great job – congrats SBS!
