Somehow it seems to come with the territory every year, but this year MasterChef had been spared the Spoilers -until now.
Woman’s Day magazine has yesterday printed a two-page feature under the headline “MasterChef Top 5: Love Secrets and Scandals”.
The final five aren’t due to be revealed until Sunday night.
“Unfortunately Woman’s Day made a mistake and announced the top five MasterChef contestants one week early,” TEN’s head of publicity Jo’an Papadopoulos told the Daily Telegraph yesterday.
“We are extremely disappointed for our fans that this error occurred. However when and how the contestants are eliminated is still to be revealed and we are confident viewers will be enthralled with these episodes.”
Last year TEN’s own promos spoiled some of the show, when Immunity pins could be seen being worn. Matt Preston was also accused of tweeting a Spoiler, but it turned out to be a red herring. In the first year, one newspaper also printed the wrong winner results, following advance media interviews with both finalists.
Last night Wade was eliminated with all remaining contestants facing Elimination tonight.

Then they should do it live and spare us with all the cut aways, the “oh I am i trouble ” comments, have you noticed whenever that is said the contestant either wins the challenge or whatever or doesn’t go into elimination, last again Julia’s chicken was raw when she first took it out, “no way “they said it would be cooked, everyone knew it would be, personally for cooking talent the worst of the series, for future TV or media personalities the best series so far
Who buys Woman’s Day to even notice? 🙂
OMG, who really cares. These things happen…
I will continue to watch, no matter what has been said/released. Get over it.
Just too convenient that a mnagazine owned by another network just happens to accidently leak…
Ten should sue
@jezza the first original one
Yes. Woman’s Day is part of ACP magazines which in turn is owned by Nine Entertainment Co.

Oops!
7, I think – and, by the way… how did they prepare and plate Matt’s red herring as mentioned in paragraph six…?
Happens every single year
Is Woman’s Day still owned by the same media group as ch9?
