ABC delays Paralympics in WA, SA & NT.

Updated: Bad news for viewers in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory with ABC set to screen the Paralympics delayed.

Bad news for viewers in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory with ABC set to screen the Paralympics delayed.

For viewers in Perth the events will be two hours after they have taken place in London.

While viewers on the East Coast will be watching live events from 4am most mornings, in WA they will have various state-based football matches. Similarly while ABC2 has live coverage from 7pm in WA it’s Rastamouse, Shaun the Sheep and Bananas in Pyjamas.

UPDATED: ABC TV Head of Sport, Justin Holdforth said “We have gone with national times to try and make access to the Paralympic Games as viewer friendly as possible.  For those viewers in central and western time zones who would like to watch us live they can see a live stream of all our programming on abc.net.au/grandstand.”
