To be sure, to be sure, Adam Hills will host a new BBC panel show, titled Monumental, celebrating Northern Ireland.
Six episodes made by Belfast production company Green Inc. have been commissioned for BBC One Northern Ireland. Recording starts next month.
Irish-Aussie comic Jimeoin will be a team captain, along with with stand-up comedian Andrew Maxwell plus guests from comedy, sport and entertainment. Each show concludes with the guests receiving a special comic tribute from the panel to mark their Monumental status.
Like Spicks and Specks, Hillsy will be ‘the independent observer in the middle who moderates the whole thing’.
Green Inc’s managing director, Stephen Stewart said: “Monumental is a feel-good comedy panel format… and we’re really excited to be making the series for BBC One Northern Ireland with such a talented host and line up of regular comics.’”
Meanwhile, a Radio 4 pilot of Hills’ unscripted, audience interaction show Mess Around is currently being developed.

I’m with Secret Squirrel. Is it some kind of well kept secret on just how bad this guy is?
Let’s hope not.
“I wonder if this means no Gordon Street in 2013?”
