Former Neighbours star Alan Dale will next appear in Hot in Cleveland.
Dale, who has a string of US credits including Lost, Ugly Betty and Once Upon A Time, will play a man named ‘Emmett’ who has an eye for Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick).
‘Emmett’ is an Oscar-winning actor cast in his first Woody Allen movie, filming in Cleveland. When Victoria also lands a role in the project, the two spar before developing a flirtation that leads to romance.
TV Guide even reports “this may become much more than an on-set fling.”
Hot in Cleveland airs in Australia on GEM.

I like to pretend that every show he’s in, he’s really playing Charles Widmore in disguise.

I’m sure it’s been said before but, like Russell Crowe, Sam Neill, and the Finn brothers, Alan is a kiwi.
It would be shorter to list the shows he hasn’t had a cameo in. Surely our most prolific export.
