ABC1 rolled out the first promo for the new Doctor Who series last night.

The popular series is returning “Soon” it promised.

Until now ABC has been unable to schedule the episodes because the BBC hadn’t confirmed when it would air.

But the BBC has now locked in Saturday September 1st, which was the date everybody had been tipping anyway.

That means Sunday September 2nd is the earliest possible date for ABC1.

But a more likely date is 7:30pm Saturday September 8th which is currently left TBA in the ABC1 schedule.
