Ronn Moss quits The Bold & the Beautiful

‘Ridge Forrester’ is set to exit The Bold and the Beautiful with actor Ronn Moss ending a 25 year run on the US soap.

Entertainment Weekly reports Moss elected not to renew his contract over salary issues.

Production company Bell Phillip Television confirmed the exit. “Ronn has spent an amazing 25 years with B&B,” a rep for Bell Phillip said in a statement. “We will always consider him family, and we wish him only the best in all of his future endeavors.”

Moss has played fashion magnate Ridge Forrester since the show’s 1987 inception, and remains one of four original actors still on the show, including Susan Flannery as ‘Stephanie Forrester’, John McCook as ‘Eric Forrester’, and Katherine Kelly Lang as ‘Brooke Logan.’

His last episode will air in the US in September.

  1. I wonder if management knew this was going to happen and that is the reason they have been setting up the successor love triangle of Liam, Hope and Steffie?

  2. Oh no,who’ll do the 4.59pm loooooooong pause before Ten News now ?

Does he ever speak in that show ?
Him and the blond chick he’s married to then not married too then re-married to then not re-married too always seem to have a pausing competition when I flick on Ten News just before 5pm.

  3. @The Moops Death in US soaps doesn’t mean you’re actually dead. Taylor has been killed off twice and has come back from the dead each time. People only never seem to come back when they simply move away lol.

  4. Apparently Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) and Hunter Tylo (Taylor) are having a real life spat at the moment on Twitter. So it seems there’s alot more going on behind the scenes other than a pay cut.

  5. My mum will be devastated as well. She even got dad hooked on B&B when he retired a few years back.Wonder how they are going to write him out or will they just put a different Ridge in his place.

  6. Can’t stand the character, an arrogant ass. Hope they kill him off for good. I think the show isn’t going to be around for too much longer with so many cast members not having their contracts renewed.
