So where are Thursday and Fridays ratings, why the long delay ?

  2. Gutwagon August 17, 2012 at 11:52 am -

So BB has lost 500,000 viewers so far and with all the hardcore fans screaming for live feeds and uplate and nine not caring, I think it will be under 800,000 within a week .What a stupid waste of a good show.

  3. nik c August 16, 2012 at 7:54 pm -

A busy and popular night! Good results for all! I watched TAR final and PVR farmer! Gruen & PB I hope to see encores of…

  4. mistaken August 16, 2012 at 7:47 pm -

Any idea how Ten Late is rating this week? Have to say I’ve been disappointed in the revamp. Host wise MacDonald and Doran dont hold a candle to Sully…or Belling.

  5. David Knox August 16, 2012 at 2:57 pm -

OzTAM site has detailed info on how ratings work, but in a nutshell as each person enters the room to watch they are expected to press a button to indicate they are viewing. ie. Dad, 53, button A, daughter 19 button B etc.

  6. wwenrl August 16, 2012 at 2:49 pm -

David may I ask a question!
How does OzTAM know who’s watching, For Example say there’s 5 people in a house, a boy who’s 18, a girl 20, a boy 25, Mum 38 and Dad 44, Say the Mum and Dad went to a friends house and the kids are watching TV, the boy 18 is watching The Simpsons, the girl 20 The News and the boy 25 is watching Friends. How does OzTAM know if the Kids are watching those shows or the parents, if the parents have left the house, it’s not like OzTAM has cameras in your house, so I just wanted to know how do they know who’s watching what?? Thanks!!

  7. jonno August 16, 2012 at 2:26 pm -

Good ratings for BB but it is dropping numbers. The big question is when will it stabilize. I think if it can hover around the million it will be ok. Nine seems to be running it on a softer budget .Noticed some out of focus shots last night. Not a big issue but it needs to sharpen its act a little.Got the feeling last night that sparks might start to fly, so should keep the interest up.

  8. Pete August 16, 2012 at 1:01 pm -

I disagree with those who are disappointed by PB. Rating. I think Ten would be stoked to have a show anywhere near the magic million mark.

  9. jezza the first original one August 16, 2012 at 12:39 pm -

The Shire was must watch TV last night and PB was ok, but a bit pervy, y’know the bloke relieving himself while his missus waited in bed for him.

Who else really likes Beckaaaa’s new hair colour?

  10. bettestreep2008 August 16, 2012 at 10:28 am -

kieran – I too am disappointed with Puberty Blue’s ratings.

I didn’t get to watch it because there was no way I was going to sit through another minute or so of that dreadful Shire.

I did get to watch a bit of Class of and this is the sort of show that schoolchildren and teenagers should be watching – not crap like Shire.

Shame that Ten has relegated this excellent reality/documentary series to a late timeslot.

Ten – redeem yourself by repeating Class of on Eleven – at a decent time!!!

    Compulsory viewing for everyone IMO.

  11. jumpjakflash August 16, 2012 at 9:49 am -

Nice to see Big Brother was the most watched program apart from the news/current affairs.
Puberty Blues had a decent number. Better than EDN lol

  12. kieran August 16, 2012 at 9:33 am -

Not the greatest numbers for Puberty Blues… not helped in any way to run ‘The Shire’ before it…
    I’m just a tad disappointed…
