Seven has amended its schedule for 30 Rock which will see two episodes screen next Sunday night.

Sunday night’s “Everything Sunny All The Time Always / Respawn” is a two part 100th episode.

With TGS facing imminent cancellation, Jack asks Hank Hooper to allow them to do their 100th episode to prove they deserve a place on the air. Meanwhile, Jack questions a life decision of his and Jenna wonders if motherhood is for her. Then, Liz realizes that she needs to take control of her personal life by fixing up her dream apartment, but she encounters an obstacle along the way. Tracy interrupts Liz’s summer vacation; Jack feels lonely and turns to Kenneth; Jenna must choose between being the Wool Council spokeswoman and her relationship with Paul.

11:30pm Sunday, October 7th.

  1. I suspect a lot of Channel 7’s late night stuff is on just to stop other FTA and STV channels getting to show the first run of shows.

They have shown every episode of 30R, mostly after 11pm on Mondays. It is fairly easy time to tape it, so I won’t complain.

  2. Just put it on 7Mate at a decent time slot, cut out the two hour Family Guy and various antique dude shows and play 30 Rock, It’s Always Sunny, Parks and Recreation and any other shows you’ve treated badly in a decent time slot. Mind you Boston Legal was treated badly when it was played on 7Mate, 10:30pm Sunday night.

  3. 30 Rock has been most viley treated by Ch7 over the years and this latest joke of a timeslot is typical.
Like S.Squirrel I have lost touch with this usually excellent series due to ever-changing timeslots, late starts and ‘bumps’.
I am mystified that 7 has bought the rights to so many of the cleverest shows (Arrested Development for one) and then consigned them to variable graveyard timeslots or shunted them off to 7Mate etc. I’d understand a first-run series being treated that way – ie. it didn’t perform as expected – but why keep buying subsequent seasons just to hide them in shabby timeslots?

I just don’t have the right stuff to be a TV programmer I guess……

  4. On a Sunday? Couldn’t they have started it at 10:30 so that it finishes before midnight? Strike Back is showing as a double-ep from 8:30 tonight but don’t get hooked as it is already due to be bumped next week for Killing Time. Why not just show a single ep of Strike Back next Sunday?

I used to love 30 Rock but drifted away with Seven’s terrible treatment of it. Guess it’s a bit too much hip and not enough roast chicken for Seven.
