The Amazing Race returns to Seven next month, on a new night.
It begins at 10:15pm Monday October 8, a week after its US premiere.
There’s potentially $2M on offer, but with a catch.
“Double Your Money”
The Amazing Race is back for its 21st season, but this year there is a new twist that will raise the stakes for the entire race. If the Team that wins the first leg of the season can outrace the other 10 Teams and win the final leg of the Race, they will double their money and win a $2 million grand prize instead of $1 million. Teams will travel through three continents, nine countries and cover more than 25,000 miles, where they’ll be faced with a 10-story rappel in Los Angeles, frying an egg on their heads in Indonesia, working as ‘rat collectors’Â in Bangladesh and revisiting one of the Race’s most infamous Roadblocks in the Netherlands in this season’s ‘Switchback.’

I’ve seen 3 different start times for TAR tonight – 10.15, 10.20 and 10.30 – I guess I’ll set my timer for 10pm-12pm and hope it’s there somewhere in the middle!
Feel free to note them on the Late List once it starts.
When are the going to show another Australian version?, its much better than the original.
10:15pm?!
Well, given Daylight Saving would have started in the southern states the day before, I guess you could look at it as…ooh…9:15pm?
Not the greatest timeslot, but at least it’s somewhere … your move with Survivor Nine!
Looks like I’ll be watching this on Plus7 as it will be on too late.
@ MuchoTB, Seven are advertising Once as coming soon to Wednesdays, I think it will take the 7:30pm Wednesday timeslot, with only factuals being scheduled there at the moment.
10.15….will no doubt run late….get stuffed Seven, i’ll watch elsewhere. They have an Australian version, how can they possibly treat the US one like crap and expect people to then watch the Aussie one?
Not complaining, considering how long sometimes we have to wait for Survivor.
Where will they put Once Upon a Time? There is now no free space at all on Seven’s schedule
If its after x factor, it will be late.
Good to see it back, but I would have preferred to see the show on a Wednesday or Thursday night or in an earlier timeslot over on 7mate. I guess I will have to record it & watch it the next day.
Wasn’t it only a couple days after US air date last season? Weird that with all the fast tracking hype going on recently that they’re going to be slower with TAR than they were last season.
So happy to have it back. But its on so late. I really hope 7 will repeat it on the weekend. That’s one good thing about Nine is that they usually repeat some shows on a Sunday.
Glad it is back!
Stupid time. I will lodge my late list complaint when this starts late! I would bet a million on it, if I had it!!
