Fairfax writers have crafted another of their favourite Lists and put Mad Men on top.

Fairfax TV and Entertainment writers have crafted another of their favourite Lists, this time the Top 25 Shows of the Past 25 Years (that’s 1987 onwards in case you weren’t sure).

Mad Men wins their vote.

The  Top 10 are:

1. Mad Men
2. The Sopranos
3. Seinfeld
4. The Wire
5. The West Wing
6. Arrested Development
7. Frontline
8. The Simpsons
9. Breaking Bad
10. Homeland

    Although there is an urban myth that one R. Crowe used to call his own name at – ahem – critical moments!

  3. @Secret Squirrel – Ah yes, I now recall that we share a penchant for Alan Shore’s twin brother Robert California.
    I’m trying to think of something equally clever using “Denny Crane”…. but alas at this time of night my wit has failed me.
