Couldnt agree less @bettestreep2008. His interview style requires an overhaul, he comes across as arrogant on Late News & rumour has it he is difficult to work with.
The revamped Late News has been an diabolical failure. 96000 latest night. The previous version rated 3 times that with an 11:30pm start time on most night. As the saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Ten inspires me to work in television. Seriously. I want to be a billionaire like Gina and buy a TV network. I really don’t understand why they make it so damn difficult. But now they have created a problem with dwindling viewers, comes dwindling advertising dollars. So now we can only hope a billionaire other than Gina, buys the networks and splurges!
Was there any more “near somewhere but really over the Nine building” helicopter reporting? Or is it forgotten now?
Interesting huh Joe. Come on Nine News Brisbane, blow 7′s brains out by the end of the year!
Evan43 – I’ve been wondering about Hamish’s absence as well.
He is one of the true finds of Australian television. Intelligent, thoughtful and incredibly dishy.
I am guessing Ten is preparing a TV show that will show of his talents;-
Everybody Magic Trick Now?
I enquired last week and was advised he was on assignment. I expect all to be made clearer shortly.
Question in relation to Channel 10: Has Hamish McDonald officially left that late news program?
Matt Doran’s been hosting that show since the Olympics finished.
Wondering why McDonald’s been absent for so long, without explanation.
So 9 news in Brisbane beats Seven News’ brains out on a Monday night, by Wednesday it loses 110,000 viewers?
Just don’t buy it
