@Mv, if less people did what you do (recording, skipping ads) then the show might not be in trouble. I don’t want to see Aussie shows cancelled either but if they don’t have support from viewers there might not be another option.
If I remember correctly, early seasons of Offspring didn’t set the ratings world on fire either. Didn’t stop TEN from bringing it back and thank goodness they did, its just gotten better and better with every season. Puberty Blues would do the same.
@Mr. J I hope Ten do renew Puberty Blues. It’s one of the only shows worth watching on the Channel or FTA for that matter. I think the ratings aren’t very high because people simply will not watch Ch 10, if they get a few more quality shows and their reputation improves I am sure the rating for this show will go up. I tape Puberty Blues and watch another night, as i will not watch any advertising if i can help it.
Ten need to justify and new season because as far as Aussie content goes, really what else besides Offspring to they have?
I think if Ch 10 showed Offspring and Puberty Blues on the same night the ratings would go up.
X Factor’s ratings are low. Were viewers turned off by Nat and Mel B kissing or is it because the results show was on Wednesday?
Did the puberty blues team speak too soon? I doubt ten can justify another season of a show in constant decline and coming 4th in its slot in the target demo.
