Paul Attanasio, originally attached as showrunner is no longer involved because of other commitments, with a new showrunner set to be announced.

The project is produced by Sony Pictures TV and Australia’s Essential Media, with Richard Roxburgh and Ian Collie remaining as executive producers.

Kinnear’s most recent TV forays have been the miniseries The Kennedys and a guest spot on Modern Family, both earned him Emmy nominations.

Other recent shows getting US adaptations are The Slap and The Strange Calls.

  1. Season 2 has wrapped up for the year not that long ago. What a great show. I just hope that this works in the US too. I hope Greg Kinnear plays the lead role as good as Roxburgh
