  1. Surveillance Oz was third for the night? So 1,051,000 Australians don’t know about YouTube.

    In fact, there’s a cheap show for ya, Seven. Just have someone play clips from YT. You can show the same 14 seconds from each one over and over again while describing in detail what we will be watching. Then do it all again in slo-mo, then replay it a few times zoomed in – which works so well with low-res footage – and finally, show us the clip one last time while wrapping up with some pithy comment. There, that’s five minutes done. Three more of those and some ads (the shouty ones will work best) and you’ve got yourself a half-hour of roast chicken for your incredibly discerning audience.

  2. So more people watched Big Fat Gypsy Weddings and Embarrassing Bodies than a quality drama like The Good Wife…as my mother would say “The taste of the Australian viewing public is all in their mouths”.

    Oh come on. The Good Wife was excellent last night and it couldn’t manage the Top 20?

    I think the constant timeslot changes have totally destroyed a show that was once rating over 1m a week.
