Next month MAX will celebrate 25 years of Kylie Minogue’s recording career, including the Australian premieres of the concert special Aphrodite Les Folies plus the one hour special My Year As Aphrodite.

In case you didn’t know it, we are in K25. Yes, it’s been 25 years since the Australian pop princess made her debut with “The Loco-Motion.” Over the last 25-years, the Grammy-winning, OBE-awarded artist has released 11 studio albums and sold more than 65 million records.

As such, Team MAX has decreed this musical milestone deserves a whole day (plus an extra hour, to make it 25!) of Kylie concerts, documentaries and of course, all of Kylie’s amazing music videos. This Kylie extravaganza includes the Australian premiere of APHRODITE LES FOLIES’ – Kylie’s ground-breaking world tour. This 90min concert special was filmed on the last night at London’s O2 Arena.

Also included is the Australian premiere of the documentary MY YEAR AS APHRODITE which follows Kylie, the cast and crew from the conceptualisation of the tour, right through rehearsals and their six months on the road. This homage will also be packed with all the other Kylie content you can poke a glitter stick at… An event no Kylie fan should miss.

Begins Saturday December 8 at 8.30pm for 25 hours.

  1. Will be watching. What a fantastic contribution Kylie has made to the music industry, and an excellent true lady who is the face of Australia wherever in the world she appears.

The Foxtel EPG is advertising the 90min Aphrodite concert to commence at 8.30pm Saturday, with a runtime of 570 minutes… so are they playing Aphrodite on continuous loop until 6am Sunday?

  2. This sounds fantastic – a perfect celebration of an artist who has been in planet pop for 25 years, normally people come & go in pop – only the very talented & strong survive.
To make it even more amazing she has always represented Australia to the world – so proud of Kylie!
