Grace Gummer cast in The Newsroom

Another offspring of Meryl Streep is headed to our small screens.

Grace Gummer, sister of Mamie Gummer (Emily Owens MD), will play a reporter in the second season of The Newsroom.

Gummer will play Hallie Shea, an embedded reporter covering the Mitt Romney campaign.

She has previously starred on Nickelodeon’s Gigantic and a guest role in an episode of Smash last s

Just excited there is going to be a second season of The Newsroom. Thought it was a bit shaky there for a while and hadn’t heard anything about a renewal yet, till now.
